The challenge

Prior to their move to Business Central, RDG Engineering faced inefficiencies due to fragmented systems. Their finance and accounting systems were managed in SAGE Line50, credit control in a separate solution, and project management in a heavily modified legacy system. These disconnected platforms meant manual data transfer, time-consuming processes, and limited business intelligence. With remote working on the rise, RDG’s on-premise finance system was no longer fit for purpose.

The solution

RDG selected Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central for its robust finance and project management capabilities, seamless integration with the Microsoft stack, and cloud-based delivery. TVT (formerly known as Tvision) was chosen as the implementation partner for their collaborative approach and SME understanding. The implementation included the Finance, Operations, and Projects modules, alongside Power BI, Jet Reports, and TVT’s Credit Control Notepad add-on.
