Together Vision Technology: A story of evolution, expertise and ERP excellence

In 1999, a small but ambitious consultancy was born in Surrey, UK. What began as TVision – an early Navision partner – has grown over 25 years into Together Vision Technology (TVT), a leader in ERP solutions for the drinks industry and beyond.

Pioneering with Navision (1999-2005)

TVision was founded by Richard Thompson, Pippa Odell and Robert de Bath. They were on a mission to build something special. Something that was rooted in real expertise, personal service, and a genuine commitment to helping businesses thrive through smart ERP solutions. At the time, this smart ERP solution was Navision, a Danish accounting software package. TVision became an early adopter of the system and began working with clients from across the UK. One of these first clients was leading wine importer, Enotria (then known as Enotria Wines). In 2002 Navision was acquired by Microsoft and in 2005 it became Microsoft Dynamics NAV. Thus, TVision began its long and successful tenure as a Microsoft partner.

Specialising for the drinks industry (2005-2007)

Over the next 12 years, TVision grew as a business and began to specialise in delivering customised NAV solutions for leading drinks brands. This customised solution, known internally as The Wine System, delivered industry-specific functionality such as duty management to the wine industry.

In 2013 TVision moved to Woking, where it has been ever since, and in 2014 Pippa took over the role of MD as Richard retired to pursue his lifelong dream of studying Quantum Physics at Surrey University.

Further change happened in 2017 when The Wine System became Bevica, a brand name that not only reflects growing capabilities of the Microsoft platform, but also the wider beverage features being built into the ERP.

Embracing the Cloud and AI (2018-2023)

The arrival of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central in 2018 marked a pivotal moment for both Microsoft and TVT. As the world shifted towards Software as a Service (SaaS), TVT was quick to recognise the potential of cloud-based ERP and the opportunities it would unlock for clients. This era was defined by agility, scalability, and a new wave of innovation, qualities that TVT embraced wholeheartedly.

TVT’s team worked closely with clients to guide them through the transition, ensuring that every move to the cloud was seamless and strategic.

By 2023, the introduction of Microsoft Copilot into Business Central signalled the next leap forward: artificial intelligence and automation became integral to the ERP experience. TVT has responded by starting to integrate these smart, AI-driven capabilities into our implementation projects, helping clients work smarter, faster, and with greater confidence than ever before.

Rebranding: Together Vision Technology (TVT 3.0)

Now, we’re entering a bold new chapter. The Fourth Industrial Revolution is here, and we’re embracing it with open arms. Our rebrand to Together Vision Technology (TVT) reflects this shift. “Together” speaks to our collaborative spirit. “Vision” captures our strategic foresight. And “Technology” is the engine that powers everything we do.

As we enter this new chapter, we have strengthened our senior leadership team to support a growing portfolio of complex Business Central projects and long-term client partnerships. We have also opened two satellite offices: one in Manchester and the other in Singapore. The former will give our customers and staff in the north a base to work and network from while the latter strengthens our global presence and gives us greater access to Asia-Pacific markets.
